Big-box kits arrive in a flat pack with self-tapping screws and aluminum sleeves. They rattle in the first hill country storm and the joints fail at the screw holes. We MIG-weld every joint in our Seguin shop, then powder-coat the finished frame in one piece so the welds are sealed against San Antonio humidity.
We size posts, beams and footings for sustained 60+ mph wind — well above San Antonio code. On larger spans we use 4×4 and 6×6 box extrusion and concrete piers sized to local soil. Stamped drawings available for permits or HOA submissions.
