- What makes the Hill Country Series different?
- It's our luxury tier. Bigger retractables, custom upholstery, and the integrated extras — lighting, misting and heating — that turn shade into a finished outdoor living room.
- Do you really do backyard upholstery?
- Yes. We sew outdoor cushions, seat pads, daybeds and replacement covers in Sunbrella® right alongside the awnings, so fabrics and colors match across the whole backyard.
- What kind of outdoor heaters do you install?
- Electric infrared heaters — typically 1,500W to 3,000W with multiple heat levels and remote or smart control — mounted into the awning, pergola or patio-cover frame. Infrared warms people and surfaces directly, so it works even on a breezy Hill Country evening, with no propane tanks to swap.
- How well does misting and outdoor cooling actually work in Texas?
- A properly designed high-pressure misting system drops patio temps 20–30°F with a fog so fine nothing gets wet. Paired with outdoor fans and a motorized drop screen on the sun side, a west-facing patio stays usable through a Texas afternoon.
- Can you add lighting, misting or heat to an existing awning or pergola?
- Usually yes. We can retrofit lighting strips, misting lines and heaters into most sound awning, pergola and sail shade frames — and we'll tell you honestly if a frame isn't a good candidate.
- Do you work with our architect or designer?
- Yes — send drawings, elevations, or an inspiration board and we'll build to spec, including 3D renderings for HOA or design review.
- Where do you install?
- Boerne, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Lake Travis, San Antonio, Austin and surrounding areas throughout the Hill Country — and we travel all around Texas, including Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, the Coastal Bend and the Rio Grande Valley — from our Seguin, TX shop.
