Every Texas Made Retractable System carries layered coverage — the Solair® factory warranty on the hardware, the Somfy® warranty on the motor, the fabric mill's warranty on the cloth, and a Texas Made Shade workmanship warranty on top of all three.
Coverage Summary
- Frame & extrusion (Solair®): 5-year limited
- Somfy® motor: 5-year limited
- Sunbrella® / Dickson® fabric: 10-year limited fade & integrity
- Solair® screen mesh: 10-year limited (Hill Country Series™)
- Texas Made Shade workmanship: 1-year on install + lifetime call-back
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in extrusion, hardware, motor and fabric
- Premature fade beyond manufacturer thresholds
- Workmanship issues on our install — bracket, fastener, mount
What's Not Covered
- Wind damage when a wind sensor was declined or disabled
- Awning left extended unattended during storms
- Damage from impact, vandalism, fire, or rodents
- Modifications by other installers
How to File
Call or text the shop — we file the claim with Solair® / Somfy® / the fabric mill on your behalf. You don't talk to the factory; we do. Most warranty service is completed the same week.
